I've shrunken into my shadow again
I'm pacing a dirt drenched and dripping rag of a city,
reciting dreams like rhymes for you.
I am humbled now
I am humbled now
you humble me
you humble me
so I shape light with my hands
it comforts me
comfort me
in this city,
I will cast the dim and the dark cloths of night,
I'll shape the light
and the half-light
I'll pave the streets with embroidered cloths inwrought with silver light,
I'll spread these cloths under your feet,
so you may cross so gently over me.
I'll shape the light
and the half light
I am humbled now
I am humbled now
you humble me
you humble me
